Sample Itinerary
This is a sample itinerary and we may change it according to the weather and guests' wishes.
Day 1
You will be picked up at the Laval TGV train station or Briouze TER train station by our wonderful driver in the afternoon and driven to La Ferte Mace in Normandy where you’ll be greeted with a glass of champagne. Time to unpack, freshen up, and explore the little charming village in Normandy before dinner with a lake view.

Day 2
Shake off that jetlag! After breakfast, We’ll head out for a busy day of exploring the Mont Saint Michel, second most visited place in France after Paris. Our first stop on the way to MSM is a treasure hunter's delight - antique shop run by Madame Yanick fourth generation antique shop owner. You never know what you will find. After exploring MSM we will head off to a little fishing village famous for oysters, we will have leisurely lunch in Cancale. Return to the cosy Normandy village house and free to do whatever you desire. Your evenings are free so that you can prepare your own meal or visit a restaurant of your choice

Day 3
After Breakfast, shopping for flowers for tablescapes/flower workshop at Julie’s Petit Chateau in Mayenne. We’ll have a light lunch after the tablescape. It's time for us to explore a little medieval town and gardens. Another brocante shopping stop before heading back to the accommodation. We will stop at a famous Normandy spa town for a coffee or tea and stroll around the lake. Your evenings are free so that you can prepare your own meal or visit a restaurant of your choice.

Day 4
Another exploring day after breakfast. We’ll visit a chateau, historical monument which is first fine example of Renaissance architecture in Normandy. Visited by King Louis XI in 1473 and Catherine de Medici in 1570. Lunch at charming village. before returning to Julie’s atelier for a creative afternoon with many choices, such as painting, experimenting with French antique textiles to create a tote bag, a pouch or a simple cushion. All the materials are provided for the ateliers.
Relaxed night as we will explore a little bit far away land have an early exploration the following day.

Day 5
Let’s drive to the Oceanside. You have the choice of elegant seaside resort Deauville where Coco Chanel had her second boutique after the successful Paris store, or Granville, where Christian Dior’s house has been turned into the a museum on the top of the hill with amazing sublime views. No matter what your choice will be, we will stop at a few quaint villages along the way.

Day 6
Another early start as we head out to an open market for shopping local produce to prepare ingredients for a cooking class at Julie’s petit chateau. I will be showing you simple but versatile French recipes. We will also visit a museum and art gallery after the market.
After we return to Julie’s chateau, you can relax with some bubbles and it’s time to cook. We will set up the dining table with Julie’s antique dinnerware collections.

Day 7
Brocanting time.
Let’s go treasure hunting. You will experience a fabulous open air French Brocante at one of the the largest brocantes in May in Normandy. We will shop until we drop!! Farewell dinner at a French restaurant.

Day 8
Now, Please don't! Sadly it’s time to leave. We’ll get you to the station in plenty of time to catch your train for your next destination. To the airport… or to Paris if you’ve decided to indulge in a few more days of parisian life.
